WOMEN IN TECH

Women in tech has long been underrepresented, with gender discrimination rife in areas like pay, workplace culture, employment and even education. These gaps are gradually being addressed, but could still do with much improvement.

In 2018, we started the #WomenInTech initiative and made a serious effort to identify great women in the tech scene by offering tickets to women all over the world to attend Wild Digital. The results were amazing, we hit a record high of 1:2 male to female ratio at the Southeast Asia conference!

We're proud of what we've achieved. Although there is still a long road ahead of us in regards to achieving gender parity in tech, we're committed to continue this effort.

SUPPORTING THE GROWTH OF WOMEN LEADERS

To encourage the participation of more women in the digital economy and to facilitate continuous conversation and growth, we are hosting an exclusive networking session featuring a selected panel of women tech leaders and entrepreneurs from Southeast Asia.

The panel, titled Women Influencing Tech: Mentor Her For Tomorrow, features:

  • Grace Ho, President, SWAT Mobility
  • Omuoy Heang, Co-Founder and CEO, Camsolution Technology
  • Gloria Ai, Founder, iAsk Media
  • Moderator: Farrah Harith-McPherson, Managing Director, m/SIX

Held via our virtual Room and off our Main Stage for the very first time, this session will feature a more casual conversational format between panelists and attendees on the topic of the intersectionality between gender and opportunity, and how our panelists are effecting change through their leadership.

Each purchase of Women in Tech pass—priced at US$150—will grant attendee entry to this networking session. Bring two more friends and we'll even give you an additional 10% discount (US$135 per ticket)!

If you have any inquiries on the promo or would like to purchase tickets, please email us at info@wilddigital.com.
