MYROBIN WINS THE SWC INDONESIA REGIONAL!
After an intense round of selections, MyRobin has emerged as the winner of Startup World Cup's Indonesia Regional (Startup Disruptor Arena) this year.
Represented by CEO & Co-Founder Siddharth Kumar during the pitch, MyRobin provides Indonesian businesses with on-demand, pre-screened blue-collar workers on a long and short-term basis. MyRobin will now go on to compete at the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in September 2022 for a chance to win a million dollars in investment fund.

Beehive Drones was founded in 2017 by a group of Indonesian students from The University of Manchester and Imperial College of London in Manchester, United Kingdom who want to bring the power of drones into the field of conventional Industries. Kenneth is the Managing Partner of MDI VC Singapore, and he is responsible for MDI Ventures Global Expansion and Fund Initiatives. He is one of the founding members of MDI ventures and has been with the firm since the day of its inception. His experience also includes time at Deloitte and Systec VC, one of the earliest VC/venture builders in Indonesia. Subsequently, he also manages several private funds throughout his career. There are currently two funds that actively operate under his management.
His investment follows the belief in a mix between value investing and sustainable growth fueled by venture investment. Throughout his career with MDI, his investment choice has contributed four out of seven exits for MDI. The sector of choice includes fintech, logistics, SaaS, and consumer tech. His next focus is to bring MDI Ventures as a globally respectable venture firm. He believes the combination of the VC model with a corporate-backed ecosystem should be one of the vital determinants of success for MDI ventures.
Kartike has previously worked in marketing to help scale ups with their customer acquisition and growing their presence. He now works with accelerators, incubators and VC firms across ANZ and advises them on marketing, sales and customer service best practices.

STARTUP DISRUPTOR ARENA
We first introduced Startup Disruptor Arena (SDA) as part of the main stage program in 2017 and it has been a big hit at Wild Digital since then. Our one-of-a-kind platform has showcased the region's most innovative and disruptive startups who could be the "next big thing", like StashAway, MoneyMatch, Kioson, RoundUp Analytics and CARE Concierge.
Since Wild Digital Indonesia 2019, we have taken it up a notch and given SDA a new face lift! In an exclusive partnership with Startup World Cup, the largest global startup pitch competition helmed by Pegasus Tech Ventures, the Indonesia Regionals will be happening during Wild Digital Indonesia 2021— from 8-9 September on our virtual Main Stage. The regional finalist will then go on to compete at the Startup World Cup Grand Finale for a grand investment prize of USD 1,000,000.
WHAT IS STARTUP WORLD CUP?
Organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures, a US Silicon Valley VC, Startup World Cup consists of a global series of startup conferences and pitch competitions held across 40+ countries. Startups will first compete in regional events across Australia, North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Europe, and regional finalists will go on to compete for the grand investment price in San Francisco!
The Startup World Cup Grand Finale has featured prominent figures from the entrepreneurship community, including Steve Wozniak, Co-Founder of Apple; Marc Randolph, Founder of Netflix; Reid Hoffman, Founding CEO of LinkedIn as well as top venture capital firms – Softbank, GE Ventures, 500 Startups, Techstar, Kleiner Perkins and more.
