Jonathan started his career as a sales representative to the Commercial Director in Mensa Group to get a deeper understanding about the sales cycle of the business, then moved up to key positions such as Business Development Director to lead the commercial initiatives of the group.

Born in a healthcare group family, Jonathan wanted to help people maintain their wellness and live better through better health. That is why he decided to establish Halodoc, with its main mission to simplify access to healthcare through the use of technology.

The disruptive innovation.

Doddy and Jonathan cofounded Halodoc in 2016 with the idea of simplifying healthcare access through technology. Initially launched with two key features: doctor consultation and pharmaceuticals delivery, Halodoc has expanded into multiple verticals to provide end-to-end solutions for the healthcare pains experienced by Indonesians.

To provide access to safe and secure #COVID19 tests, Halodoc collaborated with clinics to set up drive thru facilities. Launched in April 2020, the service has expanded to locations across 5 major cities in Indonesia, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, and Bali. As of Dec 2020, the facilities have conducted more than 500,000 tests, which helped minimize pressure for local health facility to focus on severe cases.

Halodoc’s monthly active users totalled around 7 million pre-pandemic to 22 million as of June 2020, marking a more than 700% revenue increase. Halodoc is also the first telemedicine that launched an online vet consultation service, allowing users to maintain their pet's health during the pandemic and enabling vets to still generate income.
